The significance of doors

Doors are not only an entrance to your home, but they’re also an entry into your inner self. Guests who visit your home sub-consciously perceive your personality and nature based on the colour of your door; such is the significance of entry and bedroom doors for us. Doors can be broadly categorized into two types viz. sliding andhinged. Apart from that, you can classify them on the basis of their material such as glass doors, ply doors, panel doors, wire mesh doorsetc.

Maybe only symbolically, but our doors can be a gateway to our personality. Let’s take a look at what our doors speak about us:

·         Everything that’s abundant is represented by blue, be it the sky or the ocean. When you install blue coloured doors, you’re sub-consciously signalling abundance of positive things in your life to the visitors.

·         When the doors are dark blue, guests feel at ease just like their home. It reduces chances of a spat and brings in peace and lots of positive energy. People also associate this colour with having a calming effect. After all, it’s blue that we’re talking about.

·         The colour yellow has always been associated with joy, festivity, fun and frolic. Those who get their main doors painted yellow are generally confident, lovers of good humour and understanding.

·         When we talk about money, we often refer to it as ‘green leaf’. Similarly, green colour symbolizes inflow of wealth, prosperity and inner peace.
